In the words of Chris Daughtry

After some 98 days in the middle of nowhere Illinois, it only took a 2.5 hour car drive and a 4 hour plane ride, and now I'm back to where things all began. It really does feel like I never left, and everything is exactly the way I remember it (except for the fact that my dad put my ps2 away and I couldnt find the controllers). But my dog still remembers me, my 65 inch TV still works, and the sun shines as often as I remember (I can walk outside without a jacket again!). The one lame thing is that I still gotta study with our impending days of doom (finals) only a mere 3 weeks away. But, a small price to pay to be sitting on my old couch again with Calvin curled up next to me, watching Spider-Man 3 on an actual TV and not my laptop.

"I'm going home
Back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from
No, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home
Well I'm going home"

Happy November

7 exam day was lame but I survived, the Halloween party at our professor's place was fun, and I am less than a week away from getting out of the cornfields and returning to San Diego.

In the great words of Lucky Day from The Three Amigos, "Gonna make it! Gonna make it! Gonna make it!"
