My life is one step closer towards being complete, as last thursday I was able to see none other than Jessica Alba live and in person. Just being in the same room as her was amazing enough, but I think my heart actually stopped working when she stood up to model her shoes. Legendary stuff.

In other comiccon news, I got to see some preview footage of Iron Man which looked awesome, saw a video of Indiana Jones and friends as they film #4, and both the Sylar guy from heroes and Leonard Nimoy standing together (both of whom will be playing Spock). Decently good fun.

Legendary people Mike has had the honor of seeing live (usually from a distance of several feet):
1. Trevor Hoffman - entering the field amidst Hell's Bells
2. LaDainian Tomlinson - I've seen him score 5 touchdowns live, including his all time career long 85 yard run.
3. Jessica Alba - in a skin tight dress and gold shoes. *passes out again*

Honorable Mention goes to Gwen Stefani and Celine Dion.

Happy 4th of July!!!

First off, a fond farewell goes out to a good friend of mine, MJ aka Michael Jiang. MJ was a great friend throughout all four years of college, and one of the first people I even got to know. The perfect guy to talk to about school, work, sports, movies, tv shows, and just about anything else, MJ was a great person to be around, and I will defintely miss his company as he leaves for grad school at UCLA. So here's to my best ever cruise ship cabin mate! Till we meet again.

Secondly, I got to see two awesome movies in the past week. Live Free or Die Hard was an all out awesome action movie, with lots of explosions, gun fights, car chases, and of course Bruce Willis. Great stuff. I also saw Transformers, which featured giant morphing robots duking it out. The special effects in this movie were amazing, and all the transformers looked really cool. It was so great, that I'm now planning on getting myself at least one transformer toy.
The Last Summer continues ...
